The Role
We are an independent business, based in North Cornwall where we have been established for over 20 years fitting fireplaces in homes, businesses and luxury new builds. As a qualified Gas or HETAS engineer working within our busy installation department, you will be fitting and registering a premium range of gas and woodburning appliances from across Europe.

Qualifications and experience are essential. You must be HETAS or Gas safe certified with a proven track record and experience.The working week consists of Monday-Friday 8 am to 5 pm, although overtime is available during busy periods. The availability to work the occasional weekend by prior agreement would be beneficial.

As a leading installer you will ensure a first class delivery and installation service to our customers, installing a variety of high end gas or woodburning fires - think Stuv, Dru etc Fireplace design is a key element to our business and therefore attention to detail, clean lines and perfect finishes. Often using materials such as Promat to form new chimney breasts are an essential part of our abilities, an eye for design is a great asset.

Here's What You Can Expect to be Doing
Customer satisfaction and safety are paramount in your day to day role installing and designing fireplaces.
Working as Installation Team Leader with one to four other staff, you will ensure professional, reliable conduct at all times.
Use your knowledge of installation and design to positively influence client choices to enable the best outcome for the client and Kernow Fires.
Keep up to date with all new products and how they can be used creatively to produce something special for the client.
Work with our fabrication department to design and build feature fireplaces.Keep an eye on developments within the industry for new products which will enable us to improve our service.
You will ensure that your knowledge of regulations and legislation is up to date. HETAS, CSCS or GAS SAFE certification will be an essential.
Assist other Team Leaders/Team Members with installation issues. Although all Team Leaders are highly qualified and assistance is available from the Management Team, we are aware that strengths lie in different areas. Therefore, you will be asked for and given advice depending on where your skills lay due to the diverse nature of our offerings.

You will come from a heating background, display great attention to detail that compliments your gas and solid fuel knowledge and have a strong customer focus.
The drive and ability to adapt to new situations and work as part of a team is crucial.
Design is an essential part of the business and will offer the opportunity for development within the company.
You will be proactive and resourceful, looking for innovative and quality conscious answers when looking independently for solutions to problems, at new concepts and product development.
You are confident to bring your proposals to the fore and be open minded during projects.

METAL FABRICATOR
Assist the Production Manager with jobs issued to the shop floor. To work within the metal department completing jobs, both accurately and on time. If you have the willingness to learn new skills, proactive and enjoy a workshop environment then this might be the job for you.
The projects we work on will require you to work on your own and as part of a team to help maintain contract deadlines, and customer expectations.
We are a fast growing firm based on the Trenant Ind Estate, Wadebridge. We specialise in

- CNC machining,
- Manufacturing railings, gates, staircases and furniture
MAIN DUTIES
Must have Mig welding experience
General sheet metal work and fabrication in Stainless & Mild Steel
Use of general workshop machinery & Guillotine
Assisting the Production Manager in daily production
Reading of CAD and PDF drawings
Assist in the loading and unloading of contracts
Ability to follow detailed drawings to a high level of accuracy
Take on reasonable additional or different duties when asked to meet our reasonable business needs.

SALARY
Will be dependant on your experience and is open for discussion,
