The Role
We are currently very busy and looking for someone to start immediately.
We are an independent business, based in North Cornwall where we have been established for over 20 years fitting fireplaces in homes, businesses and luxury new builds. As a qualified Gas or HETAS engineer working within our busy installation department, you will be fitting and registering a premium range of gas and woodburning appliances from across Europe.
The business is diverse, growing and has an outstanding reputation. We are looking to match this with somebody who has attention to detail is hardworking and willing to learn and grow with us.
Qualifications and experience are essential. You must be Gas safe certified with a proven track record and experience. The working week consists of Monday-Friday 8 am to 5 pm, although overtime is available during busy periods. The availability to work the occasional weekend by prior agreement would be beneficial.

As a leading installer you will ensure a first class delivery and installation service to our customers, installing a variety of high end gas or woodburning fires - think Dru etc Fireplace design is a key element to our business and therefore attention to detail, clean lines and perfect finishes. Often using materials such as Promat to form new chimney breasts are an essential part of our abilities, an eye for design is a great asset.

Here's What You Can Expect to be Doing
Installing Gas fires
Removing gas fires and adjusting for new products
Customer satisfaction and safety are paramount in your day to day role installing.
You will ensure professional, reliable conduct at all times.
You will ensure that your knowledge of regulations and legislation is up to date. GAS SAFE certification is essential.
Assist other Team Leaders/Team Members with installation issues.

A good team member, willing to work as part of a team or individually.
Capable of making decisions considering, installation, design and Health & Safety at the point of installation.
Confident to provide feedback on products or installation issues to improve our service.
Experienced within the industry and company safe working practices.
A full clean driving licence.
A sense of humour is always handy as we like to start and finish the day with a smile.
