Position: Sales and Surveyor
Location: Based in Wadebridge Showroom - covering the whole of Cornwall and into Devon
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £22,000.00 - £32,000.00 per year
We are looking for an exceptional candidate who must have a very good knowledge and experience of the Stove and Fireplace industry, or a proven track record related to sales and surveying.
We are offering the unique opportunity to join our exciting growing stove business. You will be a key bridge between customer expectations and the installation. Working across the entire spectrum of our business from surveying properties new and old, to working from plans and building relationships with architects and builders. You will design, price and supply comprehensive quotations to suit spaces and aspirations.
You must have a good knowledge of buildings construction. A proven track record surveying and pricing, essential. Good computer skills are essential, ability to digitally draw is a benefit.
Key aspects of the role include:
• Sales - customer facing sales in our showrooms
• Creating estimates and designs from information provided from the client with / without a home visit
• Project management from start to finish management of installations.
• Visiting homes and building sites to undertake surveys and check suitability of product
• Working to meet sales targets and increase profitability
Essential Skills/ knowledge and experience:
Knowledge of building and construction
Experience in the stove industry
Proven track record in surveying
Project management experience. Be able to manage, develop, audit, monitor and review processes to ensure right first time installations.
Good design skills to help the client achieve their goal
Solid understanding of pricing and budget to ensure profitability
Attention to detail essential
Ability to see a design through from paper to completion
