Warehouse Supervisor
Job Description
We are offering a unique opportunity for the right person to join our growing stove business. Our warehouse is at the centre of our business so we’re looking for a reliable, energetic supervisor who enjoys a challenging role and getting a great job done.
Experience:
You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in supervising warehouse operations, ensuring materials are available to maximise workflow efficiency, planning warehouse and stock rotation, updating the stock control system with additions, deductions and returns using appropriate lifting equipment to load and unload.
About the role:
• Ensure all materials/consumable are in stock for each installation on a timely basis
• Check the goods in diary to keep a track on urgent materials that are due to be delivered
• Gathering of stock components for installer and trade collections.
• Plan the warehouse and stock rotation
• Update the stock control system with additions, deductions, returns and transfers
• Communicate all issues/corrective actions with Purchasing Manager
• Un-loading and loading of daily Goods In deliveries
• Quality check deliveries for damage in transit
• Monthly stock checks on all materials, adjusting accordingly
• Ensure all lifting equipment is maintained to maximise efficiency and report any faults immediately
• Ensure health and safety is adhered to at all times
• Responsibility for warehouse operatives
About you:
The ability to lead and motivate others.
Ability to effectively prioritise a demanding workload.
Warehouse Supervisor: 2 years (Preferred).
Lifting equipment / forklift experience (preferred).
Computer literate.
Pro-active approach to problem solving and work load.
Strong networking, interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organisational skills.
Positive and flexible approach to new challenge.
Analytical and methodical with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Willingness to succeed and go ‘above and beyond’.
Strong team player but able to work on your own initiative.
Driving licence required

Salary: £24,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
What we do
We offer a comprehensive and extensive range of woodburning, gas and electric fires, Everhot Electric Cookers, high end outdoor kitchens and a large range of outdoor products. We run five teams of installers and stock a number of fires and parts over two warehouses in close proximity in Wadebridge with a second showroom/sml warehouse in Redruth. Fires, parts and fuel are ordered and delivered on a regular basis and stored until installation.

Warehouse Assistant
Job Description
Primarily working as an assistant to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Yard Assistant will be able to work independently, take instruction well, enjoy being organised and physical activity.
At Kernow Fires there is always room for development and we encourage growth, taking on more responsibility, gaining qualifications which will help the individual and the company and sharing ideas. Development within roles and throughout the company are encouraged and many of the staff have been with us for years as their roles have developed.
Main Job Role:
To assist Warehouse supervisor as required.
Ensuring the Yard is kept to a safe and secure standard
Maintain general tidiness of the Warehouse
Ensure paperwork is precise, up to date, and in a secure location
Understands the Goods Receipting process,
Ensure deliveries are Goods Receipted correctly and any shortages and damage is reported
Delivering product to site and other outlets.
Picking product for future installations.
Completing stock checks as required.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: £14,500.00-£22,000.00 per year
