A Warm Welcome
We have a team of dedicated staff in both showrooms, Wadebridge and Redruth, who are alway happy to show you around and advise you, where necessary, on everything from woodburners to Everhot electric range cookers. We try not to overwhlem you with choice but guide you to a selection of fires that suit your requirements. We will often be able to suggest something which we don't have in the showroom but may be better suited to what you are looking for, or we may have the perfect fire in stock. Either way, we hope your visit to our showroom will be enjoyable and informative.
We have quite a lively team here at Kernow Fires, and although we take our work very seriously all like to enjoy ourselves. There is always great excitment when David joins us for our Everhot demos or cooking events and we put a lot of energy into our Fire & Food days!
Meet some of the Kernow Fires team
- Simon Breckon
- Managing Director
- Simon Breckon first created the stove showroom back in 1998 taking the business from the local Coal and Feed Merchant into the 21st century. He is passionate about fires and is brilliant at visualising the final product, seeing any issues that may arise and suggesting fires and designs that may not have been apparent. He is always thinking of new ways to develop the business, improve the service and expand the showroom.

- Jane has been with Kernow Fires from the start. Her energy is limitless and she can often be seen bounding around. Her enthusiasm gets everyone moving and she's pretty good on a fork lift too.

- Manager
- Dan is the Manager at Kernow Fires. His role also includes developing new products, surveying and design.
- Claire
- Assistant Manager
- Claire is our Assistant Manager, and has been with Kernow Fires for many years working through different qualifications which have given her vast experience to help with the development and day to day running of the business.
- Rae
- Customer Services/Surveyor
- Rae has been working in the stove trade for over eighteen years and has an impressive knowledge of stoves. & installation. She joined Kernow Fires 2014 when we opened the Redruth shop and helped to build and manage our trade sales. She now covers both the Redruth and Wadebridge and is one of our surveyors, so you might just see her in your home soon!

- Allen is one of our four surveyors here at Kernow Fires. Always available for a warm welcome and a one liner.
- Kelly
- Marketing Manager
- Kelly has the task of making sure everyone knows about Kernow Fires from building and maintaining the website to online and offline strategies and implementation. She's been part of the team for 10 years and enjoys being part of a growing local business. As she normally works on her own, she loves being part of the Kernow Family two days a week, especially when there is a demo or cookery event on!

- Customer Service - Redruth
- Lovable, hilarious and helpful Bex has been in the industry for over 20 years! She makes sure our tradees are well looked after and is a well-known friendly face at both branches, helping both the public and trade with their enquiries.

- Customer Service
- With a background in office administration Hayley is based in the office ensuring our invoices are sent and oversees credit control. She has a wicked sense of humour and is always making us all laugh.
- Evan
- Customer Service - Redruth
- Evan works between our Redruth and Wadebridge shops and has worked tirelessly recently to help update our system and organise the warehouse. She is also known as Eagle Eye Evan, as she has a keen eye for detail!

- Super smiley Kate joined our team during lock down and brought some much needed fun and boundless enthusiasm with her. A friendly face to greet you when you visit, she's an ace with the BBQs which helps make her one of the most popular team members!

- Ellie is back! We are very happy to have Ellie and all her stove and flue knowledge back with us after a short break. The team hasn't been the same without her.
