Customer Requirements: Removal of the existing gas fire and installation of a wood burning stove with wood lintel

Customer Aspirations: Complete over hall of the fireplace to look more country cottage.

Firs the Gas fireplace was disconnected and the stone fireplace and gas liner removed.  The fireplace then needed to be dug out to make space for the new fire.  Using our unique metal frame system a new front was made for the breast which supported the new concrete lintel and provide extra depth so the wood burner would sit in the fireplace neatly.  The wood effect concrete lintel enabled the customer to have the look of a traditional wood  lintel but also adheres to new building requirements.  The fireplace was then finished ready for it's first coat of paint and the Clearview fire installed using a flexi-liner.  A pallet of logs was delivered the same time as the fire so, along with our Kernow Fires starter pack, the customer had nothing else to think about other than what colour to paint the wall.
