Customer Aspirations: A tall contemporary stove in the corner of the room
Customer Requirements: No chimney and can't go through the roof
The Contura 550 with soapstone top, which heats up slowly and releases heat into the room long after the fire has gone out, sits nicely in the corner of this room on a bespoke circular hearth. The flue, which was left in stainless steel as per the clients request goes out through an exterior wall at an angle using a specialised drill. The flue continues up the outside of the building to regulation height.
