Customer Aspirations: A contemporary fire with side glass
Customer Requirements: New build with no chimney
The Contura 750 works really well in this situation. The side windows work well with the huge amount of windows already in the room. The curve of the fire is a focal point contrasting with the straight lines of the new build. The pipe from the back of the stove is the direct air system bringing air from outside directly into the stove meaning the house can remain sealed. The chimney was built using a twin wall flue system and the fire is sat on a d shaped honed slate hearth which was made to order.
