Customer Aspirations: Replace the traditional open fire with a more efficient fire
Customer Requirements: Clean and keep the existing fire
The Contura I4 is made specifically to fit into a traditional Milner opening without any major building works. Once the Milner brick is removed and the flue relined the fire is popped into place and attached to the new flue system. Here an extra piece of frame has been added where the opening was slightly larger than normal. This would have been painted to match the fire just after this photo was taken.
