From Cornish slate fireplace to modern corner fire
Slate fireplaces are a common occurance here in Cornwall. Many of them we work around and modernise, some we take out altogether. We often use the chimney and reline with a flexible flue however in this case the clients wanted to completely redesign the entire room and move the fireplace into a corner position. The Kernow Fires team completed all the building work including the new plastering. The clients decided to do the painting and decorating themselves.
