At Kernow Fires we have five teams of dedicated HETAS registered and GasSafe engineers, offering an installation service for woodburning, gas and electric fires. The wide variety of backgrounds has created teams that are highly skilled for every requirement, a simple fire update to a bespoke fireplace project.
Our engineers are, by nature, very respectful of the fact that they are working in your home and do their very best to cause as little mess as possible, cleaning as they go and taking hte relevent safety precautions. We will take the time at the end of the installation to run through the operation of your new HETAS or GAS safe registered fire with you so that you are completely happy with the end result and enjoy the whole process.
Some Facts About Our Installations
- All install teams are HETAS or Gas Safe registered
- All fires and chimneys installed by Kernow Fires will meet building regulations
- Kernow Fires staff take part in on going training which includes HETAS certification, building regulation updates, manufacturer training sessions, first aid and customer service
- Kernow Fires installation teams are fully employed by Kernow Fires
- Established in 1983 and employing over 20 staff with hundreds of years of experience between us, we will be here for years to come.
- We can provide anything you need for your fire including spare parts and fuel.
Free Survey
We offer a free survey to anyone in Cornwall looking to install a woodburner, gas fire, pellet stove or Everhot cooker. We offer both a remote survey, which involves filling in the form above and perhaps a telephone or Facetime call, or a traditional visit to your property. Either way there is no obligation to proceed and we are happy to spend the time you need to ensure you make the right decision for your home.
There is normally a wait of approximately 2-4 weeks for an onsite survey which is why we have introduced the remote survey to help speed up your project.
Got Plans?
You can make an appointment with one of the experts in our showroom throughout the week or on Saturdays, or simply send your plans using the form above. Either way we will be happy to spend the time with you to ensure you get exactly the right fireplace and chimney system for your project. We advise all clients working from plans to do this at the earliest stage possible, ensuring you receive the best service and advice.
